I also enjoyed the writing style, it seemed very conversational and was easy to read, but still kept me interested, even without constant bad things happening (though a lot of bad things did occur in the story).. They certainly have chemistry and there is considerable conflict because of an old family feud between Coot and Amy's curmudgeonly father, and misconceptions concerning what ended their previous relationship. But peace demanded accommodation. This book was written for therapists in private practice, but I'm just someone that has a relative with BPD and I found it easier to understand than many of the other books on the subject that are geared toward the layperson; plus, I liked the idea of having one book with a different angle such as this which is meant to be a clinician's guide.. THanks for a great reference on this subject!.
